As Apron’s New York representative, Mindy offers 12+ years of experience in hospitality, food, wine & spirits public relations. A media relations machine and passionate storyteller, her relationships run the gamut across all markets. Whether it’s The New York Times, The Washington Post or The TODAY Show, Mindy has her finger on the pulse of what excites the media.
With vast experience as a media relations strategist at PR agencies in both NYC & Boston, Mindy has guided publicity for countless restaurants as well as James Beard nominated chefs and restaurateurs like 2013 Food & Wine Best New Chef Jose Enrique and San Francisco restaurateur Anna Weinberg. She has also managed media relations for high-profile, red carpet VIP openings for celebrity brothers Mark, Donnie and Chef Paul Wahlberg’s national burger concept Wahlburgers and played an integral role in building the brand’s national press profile.
Among some of her favorite clients are the food, wine & spirit brands where she’s been responsible for garnering significant top tier press around a myriad of campaigns and launches. Those brands include Egan’s Irish Whiskey, The Bitter Truth, Mezcal El Silencio, Cannonball Wine Co., Cape Classics premium wine importer, LaTienda.com, Hilliards Chocolates and Jacobsen Salt Co. In the culinary world, Mindy has worked with: NYC restaurants Ribalta, Colonia Verde and Haymaker Bar + Kitchen; acclaimed Denver restaurant group Edible Beats; The Cavalier, Marlowe and Park Tavern in San Francisco; and Boston restaurants Bricco, Mare and Trattoria il Panino, to name a few! She has also launched major national restaurant brands in the Boston market such as Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouse, Del Frisco’s Grille and Smashburger.
